Condoms and gutka were discovered inside samosas at the canteen of a large automobile company. One person has been arrested in connection with this incident.

An FIR (First Information Report) was filed at Chikhali police station on Sunday by the General Manager of a catering services company located in Aundh. The company had been hired by a major automobile firm to provide food for its canteen.

The Pimpri Chinchwad police are investigating after condoms, gutka, and stones were found in samosas served at the canteen of a big car company. They arrested a suspect in connection with this. Initial police findings suggest that the tampering was done intentionally by a subcontractor whose contract had been terminated before. The General Manager of a catering services company in Aundh, hired by the car company to supply food, filed an FIR at Chikhali police station on Sunday.

On March 27, employees at the automobile company’s canteen discovered condoms, banned gutka, paan masala, and stones inside the samosas. The catering company reported the incident to the police station,” said a police officer.

The officer explained, “The investigation indicates that the catering contractor subcontracted the samosa supply to a local entity. However, this subcontract was terminated when an adhesive bandage was found in the samosas. The subcontract was then given to another entity. Further investigation suggests that the previous subcontractor sent two employees to work for the new subcontractor to disrupt the business. We have filed charges against five individuals, including three from the supplier firm and the two employees sent to the second company.

When reached for comment, Senior Inspector Dnyaneshwar Katkar stated, “We’ve apprehended an individual from the initial subcontractor, and our investigation is ongoing.”

The police have cited Indian Penal Code Section 328, which deals with causing harm to someone by giving them poison or harmful substances.
